New Works Festival

February 17th - 18th, 2024

Theatre on the Run
3700 S Four Mile Run Dr
Arlington, VA 22206

Best for children ages 0-6 and their families

Join us for a weekend of new shows and fun activities for the whole family!
We will be sharing sneak peeks of two new shows that we are in the process of developing for a future season.

Deep Sea Melody
by Ellie Levine
Best for children ages 0-3
Join us on a musical and multi-sensory adventure to the bottom of the ocean! In order to find a missing seashell, we must embark on a journey of underwater worlds and mysterious creatures to see how each layer contributes to the melody of the deep sea.

The Laundromat Show
by Joshua Rashon Streeter
Best for children ages 2-6
Two friends enter a laundromat and they discover that doing laundry is not what they expected! With teamwork, perseverance, and imagination, they collaborate to achieve the ultimate task, while finding joy and humor in this weekly chore.

Each sneak peek presentation will be approximately 15 minutes long.
As part of the festival, we will also be offering the following activities in conjunction with the two shows:

Creative play stations
Themed crafts
Sensory stations
