Arts on the Horizon internships and fellowships provide hands on experience working in Theatre for the Very Young. Interns and fellows will work directly with DC professionals and gain new skills in their chosen area. Our internships and fellowships can be tailored to focus on your individual artistic interests.
Arts Education Fellowship - Summer 2023
Arts on the Horizon is seeking a college student, graduate student, or recent college graduate to serve as a fellow for the summer camp season.
The fellowship runs from June 12, 2023 - August 18, 2023 and includes office hours in the week before our summer camp sessions. The fellowship hours would be 8:30am-12:15pm Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include preparing for camp daily, helping the lead teaching artists during camp, and working with the Education Director on education projects for Arts on the Horizon.
Fellows are paid $15/hour

Arts Administration Fellowships - Summer and Fall 2023
Arts on the Horizon seeks highly motivated individuals for arts administration fellowship positions throughout the year.
SUMMER: June - August
FALL: September - December
Duties of the position include supporting the organization’s marketing activities, education programs, fundraising initiatives, and theatrical productions. Applicant should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. Experience with social media is a plus.
The time commitment for this position is 10-20 hours per week.
