Artistic Team
Ryan Sellers (Playwright and Director) has written and directed two children's shows; one for Synetic Family Theater and Adventures with Mr. Bear for Arts on the Horizon. He was also the adapter and director for The Wonderful Wizard of Oz at Synetic and is adapting My Father's Dragon for Synetic Family Theater. He has choreographed most recently for Pointless Theatre and has performed for Shakespeare Theatre, Studio Theatre, Signature Theatre, Folger Theatre, Imagination Stage, Adventure Theatre, and several others. He has fight-choreographed several local productions as well.
Jacy Barber (Original Set/Props/Costume Designer) is a theatrical artist specializing in costume, puppet, and object/properties design. She has designed world premiere productions for The Kennedy Center (KCTYA), The Welders, Field Trip Theatre, Contradiction Dance, Ballet ADI, QTIP, AndHow!, and Fred Ho. She co-founded D.C. based Not A Robot Theatre Company, whose original production of The Clocks (Capital Fringe 2013) earned the festival's "Director's Award". She has served as resident costume designer and puppet master for A Broken Umbrella Theatre since 2011. Teaching credits include eight summers at The Putney School Summer Programs teaching “Wearable Arts”, a workshop Jacy created dedicated to art of sculpting garments. She holds a B.A. (Costume Design and Puppetry) from Sarah Lawrence College and an M.S. from Antioch University New England.

Jacob Yeh (Mr. Bear) is a DC-area actor and is so excited to be back with Arts on the Horizon. He has been seen locally in productions at Studio Theatre, Theater J, Ford's Theatre, the Shakespeare Theatre Company, Washington Stage Guild, Folger Theatre, Constellation Theatre, 1st Stage Tysons, Adventure Theatre MTC, The Welders, Pinky Swear Productions, the Source Festival, Spooky Action Theatre, Discovery Theater and as the title character in the Helen Hayes Award winning production of Anime Momotaro at Imagination Stage. Most recently, he was seen onstage in dog & pony dc's production of Beertown and upcoming productions include Trevor (1st Stage Tysons) and The Late Wedding (The Hub Theatre). He studied at the TheatreLab in the Honors Conservatory and when not rushing to embarrassment onstage, he can be found at home with his wonderful wife and kids (ages 7, 5, and 3).

Paige Rammelkamp (Musician) is proud graduate of American University with a dual degree in Musical Theatre and Vocal Performance. She originally hails from Southern Virginia where she had over a decade of classical piano training. Her most recent projects include: The Last Five Years (Theatre@CBT and Montgomery Playhouse), The Bridges of Madison County (Red Branch Theatre Co.), Bonnie & Clyde (Monumental Theatre Co.), Sister Act, RENT (Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre), Point A to Point B, Adventures with Mr. Bear (Arts on the Horizon), Man of La Mancha (The Arlington Players). She also assisted with Sweeny Todd at Olney Theatre Center. This winter, she will be music directing The Fantasticks at Little Theatre of Alexandria. She also teaches at Adventure Theatre during the school year as a music teacher for the Pre-Professional Program.
