Summer Camp Frequently Asked Questions

Logistics and General Information

What should my child bring to camp?
  • Campers should dress in comfortable clothing that they can move in and should wear sneakers. Each camper should bring a snack, a refillable water bottle, and a change of clothes. 

What is the maximum number of students in a camp?
  • Camps are usually capped at 15 students.

Cancellation and Transfer Policies

**If you wish to cancel your registration, you must notify Arts on the Horizon via email at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the registered session in order to receive a tuition refund in the form of an account credit to be used toward future Arts on the Horizon education classes or camps. If you cancel your registration less than 4 weeks prior to the start of the camp, you will receive 50% of your registration in the form of a credit. All credits are valid for one year after the date of issue.  

Low Enrollment/Cancellation Policy: A minimum enrollment is required to run each program session. Sessions with low enrollment prior to the start date may be subject to cancellation. Any registrations that are cancelled due to low enrollment will be refunded in full.

Can I transfer to another camp session?
  • Students may transfer camp sessions based on availability without incurring an additional charge.  To cancel or transfer, email LLoy@ArtsOnTheHorizon.org 
  

​Safety and Cleaning Protocols

Will masks be required?
  • Masks will be optional for students. 

What if my child is ill?​
  • If your child has a temperature above 100 degrees or is experiencing other symptoms (fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, fatigue, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea), we ask that you keep them home and contact us at education@artsonthehorizon.org to let us know.

What is the hand sanitization protocol?
  • Students will wash and sanitize hands often and thoroughly! Students will be required to sanitize hands upon arrival and at other points throughout the day. Arts on the Horizon will have hand sanitizer available during camp.
  
What is your cleaning/sanitizing protocol? 
  • High-touch areas and surfaces will be sanitized frequently throughout the day. Bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized daily.
