Arts on the Horizon internships and fellowships provide hands on experience working in Theatre for the Very Young. Interns and fellows will work directly with DC professionals and gain new skills in their chosen area. Our internships and fellowships can be tailored to focus on your individual artistic interests.
Arts Administration Fellowship - Summer 2021
Duties of the position include supporting the organization’s marketing activities, education programs, fundraising initiatives, and theatrical productions. Applicant should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively, as well as proficiency with MS Office. Experience with social media is a plus.
The time commitment for this position is 10-20 hours per week. The fellowship begins in late May and ends in mid-August 2021.

Arts on the Horizon seeks a high school student (rising 9-12th grader or recent high school graduate) to serve as an intern. The fellowship hours would be 8:00am-3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am-1:00pm on Fridays.
Responsibilities include helping with aftercare, preparing for camp daily, and helping the lead teaching artists during camp hours.
Summer Internship begins early June and ends mid to late August, 2021

The fellowship runs from late May to mid-August and includes office hours in the weeks before and after our summer camp sessions.
